What's the difference between radar and GPS?

Radar location is the radar by transmitting electromagnetic wave, electromagnetic wave encounters the target reflected back radar and positioning, generally used to detect the target; GPS is positioned by receiving signals from GPS navigation satellites.Radar positioning with GPS satellite positioning will be affected by the same electromagnetic spectrum interference, if the use of radar and GPS frequencies are the same, so may cause interference between them, also will be affected by the interference of the GPS jammer, because GPS block device is block the GPS signal.

  • What I hear most about radar is the application of military activities, radar tracking and so on are very important. And GPS is closely related to our lives, our phones and cars are used, and I'm not familiar with the differences. However, it is necessary for a certain signal frequency band to work properly, so it is possible to be disturbed.
